Withdrawing from your Zopa savings is different depending on the type of account you have with us. Here’s everything you need to know.
Smart Saver:
If you have savings in Access pots:
You can withdraw your money at any time using the Zopa app. Withdrawals can only be made to your linked bank account.
Withdrawals normally take less than 10 minutes, but can take up to 2 hours.
If you have savings in Boosted pots:
You’ll need to give us notice before you can withdraw your money. The notice will either be 7, 31 or 95 days, depending on the type of Boosted pot you have.
Once this notice period ends, you can withdraw your money directly to your linked bank account via the Zopa app.
Please note, you can’t access your money early, not even for a fee.
Smart ISA:
If you have savings in Access ISA pots:
You can withdraw your money at any time using the Zopa app. Withdrawals can only be made to your linked bank account.
Withdrawals normally take less than 10 minutes, but can take up to 2 hours.
If you have savings in Fixed Term ISA pots:
Once the fixed term on your Fixed Term ISA pot has ended, it'll automatically turn into an Access pot, which you can withdraw from at any time.
However, if you want to access the money in your Fixed Term ISA early, you can do this by breaking the fixed term and paying an interest charge.
You can then either withdraw the full balance to your linked bank account or move it to an Access ISA pot, where it’ll earn a variable interest rate.
