2025 Fintech Pledge welcomes 10 new members to help tackle UK cost-of-living crisis

Rising inflation and the subsequent price surges in everything from energy bills, petrol prices and grocery costs have exacerbated the squeeze on household finances, some of which were already under strain in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Britons up and down the country are increasingly worried about the impact of this financial shock on their lives.

Launched in September 2022, the "2025 Fintech Pledge" (pledge2025.org) brings together the fintech industry and its strategic partners to help UK consumers build up their financial resilience and better protect against the rising cost of living.

Our movement is growing. Today, we’re proud to share that 10 new members have joined us to help tackle the UK’s cost-of-living crisis and help drive 10 million consumer actions that build up the financial resilience of UK consumers.

A growth milestone

The 10 new companies mark a key growth milestone for the pledge. As our one-of-its kind coalition continues to grow, we will connect even more consumers to platforms that make savings work harder, improve credit scores, consolidate debt, and lower utility bills.

The latest members that have joined the Pledge are (alphabetically):

  • Rent reporting platform CreditLadder

  • Google Cloud

  • Savings platform Hargreaves Lansdown

  • Digital mortgage platform Koodoo

  • Financial wellbeing business LOQBOX

  • Home deposit builder app Nude

  • Money-saving app Snoop

  • Digital savings platform StepLadder

  • Digital greener bank Tandem Bank

  • The Money Charity

The Money Charity has come on board as the pledge's lead charity partner. In this role, they will co-design and deliver an ambitious programme of their Financial Wellbeing and Financial Education Workshops for people of all ages, reaching those worried about the impact of the fast-changing financial environment. Every year, the charity reaches 30,000 people directly through their workshops and webinars, plus many thousands more through their resources, tools and website.

We’re delighted to be working with a growing coalition of UK fintechs, their partners, and charities as we continue this journey.
